Aayushi Dangol

PhD Student, University of Washington

I’m a Ph.D. Candidate, advised by Dr. Julie Kientz. My research investigates both technical AI/ML questions and applied problems that consider how to responsibly deploy AI in ways that support human learning, development, and interaction. One aspect of my research focuses on the design, development and evaluation of AI-powered tools for children with speech and language difficulties. By focusing on how AI can bridge developmental and educational gaps, I strive to create ethical, human-centered solutions that empower children and their families.
